Penandatanganan dilakukan antara Rektor Unifa Muliyadi Hamid dan Direktur Keuangan PT Semen Tonasa Bambang Eko Prasetyo. Sertifikat kompetensi yang dikeluarkan Tonasa ini nantinya akan dapat digunakan menjadi modal kerja.
Bambang Eko Prasetyo menyebutkan, Tonasa merupakan perusahaan yang sangat layak dijadikan tempat magang bersertifikat. Selain melihat performa perusahaan yang sangat baik juga Tonasa merupakan perusahaan yang besar.
Dalam penandatanganan ini, selain Unifa turut dilakukan PKS dengan UNM, UMI, STIA LAN, UIN Alauddin Makassar, Poltek Atim, PNUP, dan Unismuh Makassar. “Kami bisa menjamin seritifikat kompetensi yang dikeluarkan Tonasa bisa menjadi modal awal untuk bekerja di dunia profesional,” jelas Bambang dalam sambutannya.
Menurut Bambangm program magang bersertifikat merupakan terobosan baru dalam dunia pendidikan dan kerja. Program ini untuk menjawab tantangan dunia usaha yang membutuhkan tenaga terampil di bidang kerjanya sesuai kompetensi yang dipersyaratkan.

Setelah itu mereka akan diberi sertifikat magang jika memenuhi persyaratan yang diberikan,” kata Rachmat.
Rektor Unifa Muliyadi Hamid menyebutkan, pihaknya menyambut baik kerja sama tersebut. Apalagi, Unifa memang telah memperseyaratkan mahasiswanya, baik yang masih baru kuliah, semester pertengahan, maupun yang akan selesai kuliah harus menjalani magang untuk mendapatkan sertifikat kompetensi.
“Khusus mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang menjalani magang bersertifikat ini, jika mereka lulus dan mendapatkan sertifikat industri dan kompetensi, maka kami akan membebaskan mereka dari pembuatan skripsi. Mereka tinggal memberika laporan pelaksanaan magang,” kunci Muliyadi. (*)
